That is maybe the most common question among the bodybuilding community. How to build muscles has been analyzed in various articles, has been discussed from experts and magazines even whole books were written attempting a close approach.
First of all, I have to make it clear that building muscles is requiring different effort level from different individuals. For example, there are people who are born with a natural propensity to sports in general. Building muscles is going to be much easier for them than to others that are not so gifted.
Anyway the three most important factors to build your muscles are training, nutrition and resting.
Starting with the first factor, working out should take place at least four times a week with full intensity and no body part should be neglected. For maximum results train one body part per day. Monday: Chest, Tuesday: Back, Wednesday: Arms, Thursday: Shoulders and Friday: Legs.
If working out five times a week is too much for you then try Monday: Chest-Biceps, Tuesday: Back-Triceps, Wednesday: Rest, Thursday: Legs-Shoulders and Friday back from the start.
Focus on your workout and do not rest longer than 40 seconds between the sets. Try to increase your weight and alter your training routine frequently.
Moving on to the second factor on how to build muscle nutrition is equally important as training. Hard work out requires constant quality protein intake in order to give your muscle growth the proper boost. That means having meals every three hours, each containing at least 25 to 30 grams of pure protein. Two of those meals should be in the form of a high quality protein shake.
The third factor is resting. It is common knowledge that muscle cells and fibers are being recreated during the night sleep. In particular, night rest before midnight is extra beneficial for muscle growth.
So, starting with these three crucial factors on how to build muscle you are certainly following the right path.
